See these guys? These are the Jonas Brothers. Why are the Jonas Brothers invading my blog? Well how about this little conversation that Iris and I had this morning:
(Iris comes clippity clopping into the office wearing my pretty new shoes
"Ummmmmm.... Mama?"
"Yes my love?"
"Last night? I had a dream? (yes, yes internets- she does often speak as if everything is a question)"
"Oh really? Wow, that's pretty neat Iris!"
"and in my dream? I had a boyfriend?"
"Oh my really?"
"yes... I had some Jonas Brothers boyfriend and we went on a date?"
"OH MY! REALLY!!!.... well, which one of the Jonas Brothers did you have in your dream" (insert image of nervous sweating mommy... thinking of all the possibilities of what she may say next...)
"umm... the other one?"
"oh... umm.. okay?" (do they have another sibling? does the other sibling have less facial hair and curls thus ousting him from the band?)
"and you know what we DID?"
(oh god oh god oh god oh god....) "umm... I'm not sure.. tell me" (don't tell me don't tell me don't tell me...)
"we went.... and saw.... puppies and kitties and bunnies!!!!!"
Oh thank the Universe you are only three years old... thank you for being so little and cute and for not growing up too fast and for going on dream dates with the obscure Jonas Brothers "other brother" and for thinking that cute fuzzy animals are good dream dates...
"that must have been a fun dream little one"
"yes?"
"yes"

That is quite possibly the CUTEST thing I have heard in a long time. Iris is so sweet.
Ha ha ha ha ha that's awesome.
Even being a normally innocent 3-year-old, though, I remember having some not-so-innocent thoughts and feelings.
Adorable. Ahhh yes.... this is how it started with Lillyanna too...
