How is it possible that she went from 4 months to 4 years so fast... and then how is it possible that in the time it takes for her to get her ears pierced, she goes from 4 to 16? Can this just slow down a little so I can catch my breath and bath in the beauty of her little girl self?

Oh Kat. I wish I could answer these questions - for you and for myself. I watched my five year-old place a cup INTO the sink today - and went "when did he get that tall?!?!". How could I have missed it...
